EcoSmart Mimosa 40 Fire Pit Table

The EcoSmart Mimosa 40 Fire Pit Table is a round, low-profile fire table built for people who want a real flame without the hassle of a traditional fireplace. At just over a metre across, it works as a centrepiece for a patio, a covered garden room, or a spacious living area.

The tabletop and body are made from EcoSmart's Fluid Concrete Composite, giving it a smooth, stone-like finish that holds up to British weather. Inside, the burner is crafted from Grade 304 stainless steel. You can choose from three neutral colours - Natural, Graphite or Bone and two burner finishes in Stainless Steel or Black, so it fits quietly into most outdoor schemes.

Fuel is the big decision. The bioethanol version uses the AB8 burner and needs no flue, chimney or gas connection. It produces 6 kW of heat, holds 8 litres of fuel and burns for 7 to 9 hours depending on the flame setting.

The gas version uses the G16T burner and puts out 65,000 BTU per hour, which is ideal for larger, exposed outdoor spaces. It runs on liquid propane or mains natural gas, but it is outdoor only and needs a proper gas installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Whichever fuel you choose, the Mimosa 40 comes with everything you need to get started: a 5-litre jerry can, fire lighter, lighting rod, bottle adaptor and black glass charcoal decorative media. Optional accessories include the R20 Fire Screen, R20 Cover Plate, AB8 Silicone Burner Cover and an all-season cover.

Looking after your fire pit

Clean the concrete body with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive pads, flammable solvents or corrosive chemicals. Wipe the burner after each use and keep the burner slot clear of debris. Use the silicone burner cover or all-season cover when the fire pit is not in use, especially over winter.

Fuel safety

Only use clean-burning bioethanol fuel recommended for EcoSmart burners. Never add fuel while the burner is hot or lit. Keep the fuel container away from children and store it in a cool, dry place. For gas installations, always use a Gas Safe registered engineer and check connections for leaks before first use.
