L-Fire Insert in Casing by Planika

The L-Fire grate and casing by Planika is designed to replace a gas fire or bring back life to a traditional fireplace. Often an existing flue or chimney is too expensive to repair and the L-Fire grate and casing will just fit into the existing surround. The flames burn through a ceramic log and granule fire bed with glowing embers on top which produce a fabulous flame effect. Using Planika's BVT system, the fire is controlled by push buttons or there is a remote control option available. The fire is filled by Planika's automated pump system and has extended burn times of up to 15 hours. The L-Fire Insert Grate and Casing is available as just a grate or with a full surround as the Lincoln fire - See under "Free Standing Fires."

Wall Mounted Fires

Our wall mounted bio ethanol fireplaces are complete units including surrounds and burners and are all fully insulated to prevent excessive heat transfer to the receiving wall. Fitting is relatively simple, usually by means of a fixed wall bracket, making them easy to fit and easy take with you if you move home. Because they don't need a flue or chimney, they aren't restricted to being hung on outside walls or chimney breasts.
